FOTOfusion GOLD Passport Information
Your FOTOfusion Passport is your ticket to "Fuse and Schmooze" and gives you first priority in selecting your FOTOshoots, computer labs, portfolio reviews, and reserved seating before space is allotted to those purchasing single tickets. Single Event Tickets are available only after all early registration Passport holders have made their choices. Please see chart for complete details.
Tickets for 100, 200, 300 and 500-series events must be pre-purchased in the form of a Passport or Single-Event Ticket. Community Event (600-series) tickets may be purchased at the door with no advanced reservations.
How to Apply
To apply, complete the Passport Application Form by selecting your Passport type, Membership level, and any additional Single Events you would like to attend. Don’t forget to write in your total amount. Next, circle your selected series numbers in the calendar and fill in your alternate choice for a Computer Lab and a FOTOshoot. This will confirm your schedule for the week. Make a copy for your records, and then simply mail or fax in your completed application form, together with full payment by either credit card or check made payable to:

Applications
Application forms for FOTOfusion® are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that hands-on Computer Labs and Field Trips are limited to 18 participants and sell out quickly. Mail or fax in your completed application as early as possible to best guarantee your first choice and receive the early registration discount. You may also register on line at www.fotofusion.org.
Liability
All FOTOfusion® participants accept full responsibility for personal injury and/or personal losses during the period of the festival, and are required to sign a waiver of responsibility. Applications and payments are acknowledgment of the terms and conditions as outlined in this brochure. Important Note: The Palm Beach Photographic Centre assumes no liability for non-refundable airline tickets that cannot be used due to any segments of the festival being cancelled or misprints in this brochure.
Accommodations
There is a wide range of hotels and motels available. Some are within walking distance, most will require a car. Prices vary – for a current list of hotels available and prices please call the Centre at (561) 276-9797, or check our web site at www.fotofusion.org. Prices range from $145 per night to $260 per night.
We also use an efficiency apartment complex, located just one block away from the Centre. These 1- and 2-bedroom apartments are very popular and fill up fast. Prices range from $155 to $195 per night.
Directions
The Palm Beach International Airport in West Palm Beach is 13 miles to the north, Fort Lauderdale International Airport is 33 miles to the south, and Miami International Airport is 56 miles to the south of the Centre.
To get to the Centre from any of the airports, take I-95 and proceed to Atlantic Avenue East, exit 52. (If coming from the south, DO NOT EXIT at Atlantic BLVD. in Pompano Beach. This is many miles south of Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach). Go east on Atlantic Avenue exactly one mile into downtown Delray Beach to NE 2nd Avenue. Turn left (north) on NE 2nd Avenue and you will see Palm Beach Photographic Centre half a block on the right. Our address is: 55 NE 2nd Avenue, Delray Beach.
When You Arrive
The FOTOfusion® registration office, located at Palm Beach Photographic Centre, 55 NE 2nd Avenue, in downtown Delray Beach, will be open 8 am to 5 pm, Tuesday–Friday, and 8 am to 2 pm, Saturday. Please stop by to pick up your passport and registration packet BEFORE going to any activities.
What To Bring
It is highly recommended that you bring a portfolio containing examples of your work for portfolio reviews; and there will be plenty to photograph, so bring your camera.
Portfolio Review
Please sign up for Portfolio Reviews 1 day in advance, from 11:00 am-2:30 pm at the FOTOfusion® Portfolio Reviews registration table in the Technology Centre. (Tuesday sign-ups for Wednesday reviews are at the Museum in the Photographic Centre.) Portfolio Reviews run 15 minutes long and can be scheduled on the hour, 20 minutes or 40 minutes past the hour, Wednesday to Saturday, January 16 to 19, between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm.
Refunds
If you decide to withdraw from FOTOfusion®, please inform us no later than December 30 – we will refund your deposit, less a $100 withdrawal fee. Because of our obligations to presenting artists, no refund of any payments will be made for notification after December 30 and for no-shows or for withdrawal after FOTOfusion® begins.
